New Releases 3/18: IGGY POP, SOUL ASYLUM, SEAN WATKINS & More…

For this Friday, the list of new releases is a decent one with only a few well-known artists, but several good ones, just the same. Some veteran artists, like Soul Asylum, Iggy Pop and James will be releasing new material. Some lesser-known acts Liima, Damien Jurado, The Bonnevilles, Lonesome River Band and Mob Rules, also seem to have some quality albums, too. This Friday will also see a compilation release from Zac Brown’s Southern Family label, which seems like a viable option for a review.

  • Cilver- “Not The End Of The World”
  • Cullen Omori- “New Misery”
  • Daddy (feat. James Franco & Tim O’Keefe)- “Let Me Get What I Want”
  • Damien Jurado- “Visions Of Us On The Land”
  • Dustin Kensrue- “Thoughts That Float On A Different Blood”
  • HAELOS- “Full Circle”
  • Iggy Pop- “Post Pop Depression”
  • James- “Girl At The End Of The World”
  • Jazz At Lincoln Center w/ Wynton Marsalis- “The Abyssinian Mass”
  • Liima- “II”
  • Lonesome River Band- “Bridging The Tradition”
  • Lust For Youth- “Compassion”
  • Mob Rules- “Tales From Beyond”
  • Redfoo (LMFAO)- “Party Rock Mansion”
  • Sean Watkins- “What To Fear”
  • Soul Asylum- “Change Of Fortune”
  • The Bonnevilles- “Arrow Pierce My Heart”
  • The Falcon- “Gather Up The Chaps”
  • The Treatment- “Generation Me”
  • Various Artists- “Southern Family”

This is the list of the best of the new releases for March 18. As usual, I will sample these albums further and will choose one for a review. I will write a review and will post it on Saturday, so check back then to see which new release I pick and to read the review. That’s What I Know, So That’s What You Know!!
