Last night had more acts playing around the Front Range and from the looks of the setlists I have seen, they were fantastic shows. The String Cheese Incident, Golden Gate Wingmen, Otis Taylor, Lucero, The Chris Robinson Brotherhood are just a few of the bands that had shows in the area last night.
The String Cheese Incident played their second night at the First Bank Center in Broomfield, and the setlist looks awesome, complete with a couple funtastic covers.
THE STRING CHEESE INCIDENT

Best Feeling > Restless Wind, Betray The Dark, 45th Of November, Master Blaster (Jammin’) > drums > Joyful Sound > Texas
Valley Of The Jig, Sometimes A River, Howard > Birdland, Here To Stay, Close Your Eyes > Colorado Bluebird Sky
Encore: Freedom Jazz Dance, Little Hands
The Golden Gate Wingmen is a super-group of sorts, that includes John Kadlecik from Furthur on guitar and vocals, Jeff Chimenti, who is also from Furthur and Ratdog, Reed Mathis on bass from both Tea Leaf Green and Jacob Fred’s Jazz Odyssey, and rounding out the quartet is Jay Lane on drums. Last night was the first of a two-night run at Quixote’s True Blue and the setlist looks super, with a healthy dose of Grateful Dead tunes.

Encore: When I Paint My Masterpiece
Hopefully, I will be able to, at least, find the setlist for The Chris Robinson Brotherhood and will post it when I do. These acts all have shows planned for New Year’s Eve, along with Sound Tribe Sector 9, Yonder Mountain String Band, Boombox, Whitewater Ramble and SuperDiamond. There is a ton of great live music, so hopefully you are getting to hear some of it. That’s What I Know, So That’s What You Know!! Enjoy!!
HAPPY LISTENING!!!! 😉
